Conductor Vincenzo Mininno

The harmonious workings of this heterogeneous orchestra is due to conductor Vincenzo Mininno, who graduated at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan,  has an impressive curriculum:  he was first timpanist in the Milan City Wind Instrument Orchestra; he played with the La Scala Theatre Orchestra (Milan), with the Regio Theatre Orchestra (Turin), with the RAI Symphony Orchestras of Milan, Naples and Rome, with the Venetian Soloists' Orchestra and for fifteen years with the Orchestra of Musical Afternoons (Milan). For two years he conducted the Milan City Wind Instrument Orchestra. Since 1980 he has played in the Orchestra of the Swiss Italian Broadcasting Corporation. In 1984 he won the first prize in the exam for the position of first timpanist in the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra (Palermo). He worked with the Piccolo Theatre in Milan.
In 1996 He played with the Dave Brubeck Quartet at
the Lugano Jazz Festival. He took part in the recording
of several major albums.

The "Fisorchestra Italiana" is unique in Italy for its peculiar characteristics, and attending one of its concert invariably turns out as a pleasant experience not only for the music lover but for everyone.
